Link isn't working for me but if I built another chop it would be an XS650.   Pehaps one day.....

I saw a pretty nice one on the way home yesterday.

Goldwing might as well be a protective shell : \

Works pretty good at highway speeds, yes.  Not so much on my commute.   I commute in the rain on my DRZ most often though.

Agreed. But I'm so effing sick of those ridiculous mail order hard tail choppers with the 300 rear tires, a nice simple recycle job makes me smile. Saw a real nice example downtown last month, cool little 50's style bobber made out of a late 70's Yammie XS650.

Check this bad boy out...

...not exactly a simple job, and probably cost more than a new 650, but it's definitely not cookie cutter.

Sorry I missed the wisecrack smiley.  Safe to assume that’s the only way I use the term sick unless referring to physical illness.

As to the bike, well it’s a cool idea I guess but poor execution of the concept IMO.

I dunno Teach, your pipes really pissed me off...

But that was because my bike at the time sounded like someone farting into a coffee can.

The weather forcast is looking bleak for the rest of the month. Just a few days of sun and lots of rain coming.

Everyone better get out for a ride today and tomorrow.
