Weatherman's calling for sun/clouds/dry weather on Saturday, 5 degrees  ;D ... anyone up for a ride?

Can't be gone too long, I am trying to line up a bike shoot for Saturday too, but I want to take the opportunity to get out for 3-4 hours.

Sure! I'd be in for spin as long as it's close. Not all that keen on getting caught out somewhere if the weather pulls a fast one.

An afternoon ride would be nice.

Shadow Surfer...brief thread hijack...
I posted a link to the page in your site about the Travesty of Justice Rally in my blog.  Let me know if you would prefer it to not be there.

Thanks, I'll link to your blog as well Spokes. To give the credit where it is due, Claude Desrosiers started the ball rolling on BCSB and on FB (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=192282664239) and Adele Tompkins at BCCOM has been great at passing on the word to other mc groups and riders. I'm just adding my voice to theirs and hoping others do the same.

The bright yellow thing should be out in the sky, I'm OK with following it. A fireball run almost goes hand in hand with the solstice. The hot food thing sounds good too.

Yup, works for me, had to Google Map that to find out where that is  :)

Any ideas where you'd like to go? Squamish? Chilliwack?

Only caveat for me is dry roads. There's a chance of rain today, and then it's supposed to be dry from late afternoon all through tomorrow, so we should be good.

Chilliwack sounds ok, I'll keep an eye on the weather.

Looking at the sattelite image. I would say 100% chance of rain tomorrow. Definately no dry roads anywhere.

Maybe Tue/Wed/Thu for sunshine now.

Hopefully you guys can get a ride in sometime over the holidays anyways.

Might be ok for a few hours, Weather Network puts the rain later in the afternoon.

At the worst, I'll have an overpriced coffee this morning at Starbucks with whoever drops by.

Looked out my window at 7:30 this morning, rolled back into bed. Now at 10, it's way too wet for my liking. I'll have to pass for now  :(. Who knows... it may dry up after lunch. Too bad, the forecast all week has been for a nice Saturday. Oh well, you take what you can get this time of year. Beats being frustrated by having your bike off the road! I've always maintained that even if I get out only once in a month in the winter, it gives me something to look forward to, and it's cheaper than a therapist!

The weather network says sun on Tuesday/Wednesday, so maybe later this week  :)

Safe ride, Shadow...

Wasn't too bad today, a lot of dry roads. Gotta love heated gear.

Nice to hear you got out SS. I too was out for a while, 5 bikes in all. Mostly dry roads from coquit to van and back to delta.
Anyone hear what was up on Alex Fraser S. bound around 3:?
