SurPRISE!

Gotta like bike #2, that dude was braking hard all the way to the bitter end. He didn't really ace the clean exit route, but still... would have been a lot different if he was a rear brake only guy.

Holy crap!! What a perfect spot for a U-turn! Idiot.

But also, this goes to show how important it is to not speed! (at least not too much :) )

If those guys were one of those vloggers who ride hard to impress the audience it could be a different story in the gif you shared.

Sort of going back to the thread you posted about crashing a couple of weeks ago, even a stupid u-turner situation like this is to a certain degree preventable by the rider. At the very least by controlling your speed you can minimize the damage significantly as you'll simply have more time to brake.

It looks like the guy with the camera is using his rear brake, you can see the skid he left. He luckily had an out where the guy following didn't.

A close call there. I hope the car gets off the road immediately so the next biker coming doesn't also smack into him.

I wonder if an ABS bike would have stopped in time. It would be impossible to do a stoppy with ABS.

The second guy had lots of room around the back of the car, I think that's where I would have gone seeing as there was nothing coming the other way. Target fixation is my guess there.
Pretty sure that second bike is ABS equipped (CRF250L?). Rudimentary 2 channel ABS won't prevent stoppies, since the front tire never loses grip.
